*What is your photography skill level? Please select one:

Novice – I am brand new to photography. I have a camera, but don't know how to use it. I don't understand aperture, shutter speed or ISO, or have very limited understanding of them.

Beginner – I have some understanding of the fundamentals of photography (aperture, shutter speed and/or ISO), and am comfortable taking “point and shoot” photos. I primarily use my camera's automatic or program or mode (P) – let the camera decide all the settings - or sometimes get lucky using aperture or shutter priority modes.

Intermediate – I mostly understand the fundamentals of photography (aperture, shutter speed and ISO), and am somewhat comfortable changing camera settings to get my desired results. I understand some of the factors that affect how to choose the camera settings, but am not completely confident. I primarily use aperture or shutter priority mode. I may not be completely confident with exposure, sharpness and/or composition. I may have limited knowledge of more advanced areas of photography, such as reading the histogram, or using manual exposure mode, but am not always successful.

Advanced – I understand the fundamentals of photography, as well as more advanced areas (such as reading the histogram, and using manual exposure mode). I am very comfortable changing camera settings to achieve my desired results. For the most part, my exposure, sharpness and composition are good and I'm generally confident in my abilities. I may use manual, aperture or shutter priority mode.

Professional – I have a solid understanding of both the technical and artistic components of photography to the point where I'm completely confident changing camera settings to get my desired results. While I may have issues from time to time, I'm fully confident in my abilities. I may use manual, aperture or shutter priority mode.

*You do not need to be an experienced paddler to join us, but I would like to get a sense of everyone's past experience in a canoe. Please select one option:

*I understand that we will be paddling in a remote area during "bug season". I will come prepared with a bug jacket and bug spray.
