Workshop Policies
I strive to provide a fun, safe, and enjoyable experience for all participants, whether they book a private adventure, or small group workshop, a one-day course, or a week-long excursion. Based on previous experience, as well as industry standards, I have adopted policies to ensure we understand, and agree upon some areas of expectations, such as, but not limited to cancellations, and payments. Receipt of your payment or deposit confirms your acceptance of these policies.
Registration
Your space in the workshop or date of private adventure will not be held until your payment has been received. In some cases, this payment is a partial, deposit payment, while in other cases, it's the full amount. Completing the registration form does not guarantee you a space in a workshop or save your date. If time lapses between your receipt of the invoice and your payment, you risk losing your space/date. I regret that I cannot be held responsible for missed emails, so if you did not receive an invoice from me within roughly 24-hours, please check your spam folder. If you're still unable to find the email, please get in touch with me - it's possible you've registered while I'm away.
Cancellations
Please be sure to check your schedule prior to registering, as I have a strict no cancellation policy in effect. All payments received are non-refundable and may not be transferred to another workshop. I regret that I cannot be held responsible for the risk of someone not being able to attend due to any number of reasons. In the event a workshop cannot take place as scheduled due to provincial or federal regulations, I will discuss options with each individual. If you must cancel, I ask that you please inform me at your earliest convenience. You may sell your ticket to a friend, as long as the workshop is suitable for them. Some workshops require more physical exertion than others, and as such, I want to make sure participants are both aware of the requirements and capable of participating fully. If you have questions about this policy, please contact me before registering. Registration confirms your knowledge and consent of this policy.
Spouses / Friends / Non-participants
Only registered and paying participants are allowed. If you are travelling with a friend or spouse, they may not join any part of the workshop or adventure unless they register as a participant. My groups are small to create a comfortable learning environment. The addition of non-photographers not only increases our numbers, but also can introduce distractions. There is an opportunity for spouses and friends to join private adventures, but they must be registered at the time of booking.
Pets
