Often called "H", Helen is a photographer who loves sports & the outdoors. She currently spends much of her time photographing paintball tournaments in Canada, the US and (soon!) Europe. When she's not on the road with her teams, Helen enjoys capturing special moments for clients at home, work and play, whether in her travelling studio or in the surrounding environment.

Helen loves a good challenge. She's been seen in the wee hours of the morning shooting the colours at dawn, scrambling down rock-faces to find rarely seen angles, and shooting until she can barely lift her arms to make sure she has the play of the game or the best expression. Her patience, determination and perfectionism (with a dash of stubbornness) ensure she gets "her shot".

In addition to her passion for photography, Helen is a freelance communications professional with more than a decade of experience helping companies realize their goals through strategic communications. She has a special love for writing and editing and must resist the temptation – or compulsion – to red pen best-selling novels!
