TRIP DATE: Monday, August 1 to Saturday, August 6, 2022

For 5 days and 4 nights, we will paddle a 36-ft voyageur canoe along the shores of Lake Superior. The coastline is a photographer's dream -- offering an intriguing mix of fine sand beaches, granite headlands, and plenty of good landings with striking views and pristine campsites.

We set out from Wawa and paddle west along the coast through the Highlands Conservation Reserve to Nimoosh Provincial Park. A trip highlight will be a 5km hike to Denison Falls where the Dog River tumbles down in an impressive 150-ft cascade.

With no road access to anywhere along this section of Lake Superior coast, this is an incredible opportunity to embark on a back-country adventure that will yield many unique, and awe-inspiring images.

The cost of this adventure is $2,170 +hst and includes all meals, camping and expedition equipment, two experienced expedition guides from a local tour company, and photography instruction provided by Andrew and Helen.

To book this workshop, please email Helen at info (at) helengrose.ca.

Can't make the dates? We're hoping to offer this excursion again in 2023, so sign up for Helen's newsletter AND the additional workshop list if you're interested in being among the first to register for this awesome workshop!
